'Artificial Intelligence' Features Coming to Google Search Announced: Artificial intelligence support will allow you to find what you are looking for as if you were chatting with Google
Google made many new announcements at its I/O event. The most striking of these were the statements regarding artificial intelligence. The company shared many developments such as innovations in Bard and the new language model PaLM 2.
In addition, Google shared details about its highly anticipated artificial intelligence-supported search engine. The artificial intelligence-supported search engine, which the technology giant calls Productive Search Experience (SGE), will be a major rival to Bing, and will be able to answer your questions with full sentences, just like ChatGPT, instead of just providing links.
In the presentation, Liz Reid, one of the Google Search executives, showed how the system will work. With artificial intelligence support, you will see a colorful section above the normal search results. Supported by Google's language models, the system can answer the question you ask in detail in this section and display images or videos.
While the technology giant wants to offer users a more personalized search experience with its artificial intelligence features, it aims to enable users to understand the subject they are looking for faster and discover new perspectives.
